First Rough Cut
Today me and Ellie uploaded the filmed shots that we had and made decisions about which ones would work best. Once we had chosen the ones we liked we edited them so that we had a rough flow of shots to get an idea of what was missing and what could be done to the ones we had to make the story make sense. The shots that we had are the meeting scene, first date, proposal and marriage scenes which so far works well. We managed to cut together the two shots of the couple moving towards each other on the bench with a closer back shot of the couple holding hands, this flowed together well and kept the right feeling of the scene that we wanted to show. Another scene that flows well is a long shot of Alice walking up to the church and then a closer shot from her torso upwards, cutting this together so that it creates a zoomed effect, getting this to flow so she was on the same leg was the problem as we thought it would be slightly off balance but in the end actually flows well from shot to shot making the continuity match. Once we shoot the final scenes for our opening we can concentrate on the end anamatic and credits that will end our opening.
